I'm an academic who studies internet governance, with a focus on social media and online communities. I spend a lot of time looking at how the work of community managers, social media managers and moderators can affect mental health. My work also dives into how we can better support community members when they disclose mental health issues in our communities. I'm also teach a subject in community management at Melbourne University.
Before all the academic stuff I was an online and social media producer in Radio Current Affairs at the ABC for almost 5 years.
