ACM member Dr Jonathon Hutchinson (former Community Manager, now social media researcher at the University of Sydney) will teach you the art of social network analysis (SNA) and how to use it to grow more engaged and effective online communities.
SNA uses network and graph theory to identify and understand the connections and interactions between people and groups within your community. It can help you identify issues and opportunities, key influencers and detractors, content ideas, and much more.
Jonathan will load you up with the most important SNA basics, show you how to use the free tools available to do your analysis, and share case studies of SNA for community managers. Attendees will have the chance to examine their own communities.
